While we primarily focus on providing Services in the UK, our Services can be accessed worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with the laws and regulations applicable to your jurisdiction.

3. Our Services

3.1. Nature of the Service

Our platform is a Research/Answer Generation ("RAG") chatbot primarily aimed at professionals (e.g., lawyers, builders, architects, planners, immigration lawyers, accountants, etc.). The chatbot uses references to official government documents (e.g., UK Building Regulations) to provide summarized or extracted information, along with citations.

3.2. Informational Only — Not Legal Advice

No Legal Advice: We do not provide legal, financial, accounting, or other professional advice. All content, information, and Services offered are for informational purposes only.

No Solicitor-Client Relationship: Using our Services does not create a solicitor-client or other professional-client relationship between you and MY-RESEARCH.AI LTD.

Professional Consultation: You should always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on information obtained through our chatbot.

3.3. Account Creation

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account and be logged in. You agree to provide true, current, and complete information about yourself during registration and to update this information if it changes.

4. User Content and Privacy

4.1. User Questions

You may submit questions or prompts to the chatbot. Please note that these questions may contain sensitive or personal information. By submitting any such content, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You have the right to share this information;
• You understand it may be processed and briefly stored by our systems and/or third-party service providers for the purpose of providing the answer.

4.2. Confidential or Sensitive Data

We do not recommend sharing highly sensitive or confidential data in your questions. If you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk.

4.3. Privacy Policy

Our data collection and handling practices (including cookies and tracking technologies) are described in our separate Privacy Policy, which you can find on our Site. By using our Services, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy and confirm that you understand your rights under applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

5. Purchases, Credits, and Payment

5.1. Credits System

We sell "credits" (1 credit = 10,000 tokens) that you can use to interact with the chatbot.

The credits you purchase will be deducted each time you use the chatbot to generate responses.

Expiration: Credits expire 365 days after the date of purchase. Once expired, they cannot be reinstated or refunded.

5.2. Plans & Pricing

We may offer both pay-as-you-go top-ups and monthly subscriptions in various GBP amounts (e.g., £10 to £100 for pay-as-you-go, £19 to £900/month for subscriptions).

All prices are listed in GBP.

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Notice of any price changes for subscriptions will be provided to you via email or through your account dashboard.

5.3. No Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, including any unused credits or partial subscription periods.

5.4. Payment Methods

We accept valid credit or debit cards and may add or remove payment methods at our discretion.

You agree to provide accurate and complete payment information, including billing address and payment card details, and to update us promptly if any of this information changes.

5.5. No Overages

If you run out of credits, you will not be able to continue using the chatbot until you purchase additional credits or upgrade your subscription.

6. Licenses and Intellectual Property

6.1. Our Content

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property on our Site and within our Services are owned by or licensed to MY-RESEARCH.AI LTD. This includes, but is not limited to, text, graphics, code, databases, the chatbot responses (to the extent they are our original creation), and any accompanying materials.

6.2. Your Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use our Services solely for your personal or internal business use.

You may download or copy chatbot answers for your reference. We do not restrict further re-distribution of these answers; however, we do not guarantee that such redistribution will always be lawful or free from third-party intellectual property considerations.

6.3. Third-Party Materials

Our Services may reference or link to government documents or other third-party materials. We do not claim ownership of such materials and use them only for informational or citation purposes. Any third-party trademarks or content belong to their respective owners.

7. Prohibited Activities

When using our Services, you agree not to:

• Violate Laws: Use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms or any applicable law.
• Misuse or Exploit: Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse our Services, servers, or related networks.
• Circumvent Access Controls: Attempt to bypass or disable any security features or access restrictions.
• Provide False Info: Provide any false, inaccurate, or misleading information during account creation or use of the Services.
• Reverse Engineer: Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or structure of the chatbot systems, except as permitted by applicable law.
• Harmful Content: Upload or transmit malicious software or harmful code.
• Automated Use: Use bots or scripts to scrape or systematically download content, except where expressly permitted via an approved API or integration.

8. Third-Party Services & Availability

8.1. Third-Party Dependencies

We rely on various third-party services, such as Pinecone (vector database) and Supabase (data storage and authentication). While we aim for continuous uptime, we cannot guarantee that these services will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8.2. Service Interruptions

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue our Services (or portions thereof) at any time, including for maintenance or due to third-party outages, without liability to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

9.1. Informational Use Only

The chatbot provides answers based on publicly available information and official documents, but it is not a substitute for professional advice.

9.2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We strive to keep the underlying information current, but do not warrant or guarantee that all information provided is complete, correct, or up to date.

9.3. As-Is Basis

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall MY-RESEARCH.AI LTD be liable for any decisions made or actions taken by you based on information obtained from our Services.

10.3. Maximum Aggregate Liability

In any event, the total liability of MY-RESEARCH.AI LTD for any claims arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11.2. Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms or the Services.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. You are responsible for ensuring we have your up-to-date email address.

13. No Refund Policy

All purchases of credits and subscription fees are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including unused or expired credits, partial subscription periods, or any inability to use the Services.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable from the Terms and does not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
